With automated mark-up
While many wholesalers and manufacturers are displaying their product range on the internet, for many companies it remains of "vital importance" to publish a print catalogue. With Catalogger your product information can be automatically published in a print catalogue or price list. The same data can be published automatically to the internet.
During the publication from Catalogger:
- product pages of your catalogue are fully styled;
- (complex) article tables are automatically generated and styled;
- images and product logos are placed automatically;
- footnotes and cross-references are automatically placed;
- table of contents and index are automatically generated;
- it's possible to use various templates in one publication.
How it works
Product information is managed in the database or ERP system. The assortment related pages are dynamically built directly from the database (without manual formatting), complete with table of contents, index and page numbers. The design is predefined. Publishing your catalogue (or other print publications) in Adobe InDesign or Adobe FrameMaker is done in a jiffy.
Ads and pages such as a fore word are easily added to the generated Adobe InDesign or Adobe FrameMaker document.
